Plant Maintenance Mechanic I
Job Posting Summary:
Seeking a technician with 1st level troubleshooting skills for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical infrastructure in manufacturing settings, focusing on equipment and utilities.
Job Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of systems, techniques, and procedures through work experience or education.
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of relevant experience; vocational or technical education or certification may be required.
- Ability to install, maintain, and repair electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical components and electrical systems in accordance with SOPs and safety policies.
- Proficient in using hand tools, computer system interfaces, and handling materials up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably Medical Device, including familiarity with cGMP, GDP, line clearance, and device history records (DHRs).
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, operate, monitor, and maintain utilities including HVAC systems, WFI, and purified water setups.
- Develop and secure a spare parts inventory of basic maintenance hand and power tools.
- Recommend the purchase of maintenance tools, equipment, and supplies to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
- Assist engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve facility processes.
- Provide technical support across production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development.
- Use schematics, diagrams, and verbal descriptions to perform tests and troubleshoot equipment.
- Gather, maintain, format, and compile technical data, performing detailed mathematical calculations.
- For higher levels, suggest and implement improvements to optimize work processes.
Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
