Project Manager
Summary:
Seeking a qualified individual with active licensure in electrical trades or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management to fill the role of Project Manager, overseeing construction projects from start to finish.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- "Active" State Licensed Journeyman Electrician, Master Electrician, or a degree in Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License within 6 months of acceptance.
- Minimum of MSHA Surface Electrical Certification within 1 year of acceptance.
- Ability to operate a Windows-based computer operating system and Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
- Ability to read and interpret project blueprints and other building documents.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience as a Journeyman Electrician and supervisory responsibility.
- Familiarity with changes in equipment and products in the electrical industry.
- Fluency in Spanish.
- Proficiency in utilizing construction management software such as Procore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Directing the activities of all job site personnel.
- Overseeing the construction project from start to finish.
- Participating in project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Preparing customer bids using ConEst software.
- Coordinating material and manpower needs.
- Resolving customer/contractor complaints.
- Maintaining work schedule and ensuring activities adhere to predetermined schedule.
- Reviewing and maintaining daily logs in Procore.
- Completing all change orders and project invoicing as per contract requirements.
- Making hiring/firing recommendations to the Branch Manager or COO.
- Assisting with field personnel duties as necessary.
Working Conditions:
- Work may be performed in non-climate controlled areas with extremes of heat, humidity, and cold.
- Exposure to moving machines, hazardous conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and high places.
- Required to go on service calls to customers' premises, conditions of which are not within the company's control.
Pay Details: $38.00 to $51.00 per hour
