Summary: Seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative with experience in customer service and knowledge of heavy equipment service or manufacturing.

Requirements:

  • HS diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum one year of customer-facing experience

  • Basic understanding of heavy equipment service or manufacturing

  • Familiarity with business-to-business commerce

  • Proficient typing skills, 30 WPM minimum

  • Excellent telephone communication abilities

  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Infor software

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships

  • Act as inside sales to boost sales volume per customer

  • Forward opportunities for deeper customer engagement to Parts Department Manager

  • Utilize company order management software proficiently

  • Assist finance department with collecting overdue payments (>60 days) for parts orders

  • Adhere to company policy and ensure accurate and timely work completion

  • Maintain safety standards by adhering to safety rules and conducting safety audits

  • Generate revenue and profit by handling spare part orders efficiently: quoting, order entry, aiding in part identification, referring technical inquiries, and responding to order information requests

  • Collaborate with production planning for scheduling inputs, lead times, and RTS dates

  • Identify and solve order issues prior to entry: pricing discrepancies, profit concerns, sales contract issues, INACT or IHACT parts identification

  • Assess customer urgency accurately for expedited orders

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
