Extruder Operator - 1st & 3rd shift

Summary: Hiring an Extruder Operator for the 2nd shift, responsible for running assigned extruder machines and ensuring end product specifications.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a HS diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints

• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in operating extruder machines

• Familiarity with verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges

Job Responsibilities:

• Check assigned extrusions every hour using verniers, ohm meters, and pin gauges

• Record material height, weight, outside diameter, inside diameter, resistance temperature, rpm and pressure in computer

• Use internal system to track machine operations and material usage for next shift handoff

• Unload/reload assigned machines; clean machines as necessary

• Replenish materials from inventory when low; minimize waste during the reloading process

• Obtain correct die for each job; clean die machine after order completion.

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
