Summary:

Lead the development of operations and personnel at the Maryville facility, ensuring all plant performance objectives are met efficiently and in line with quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of five years of successful manufacturing management experience, overseeing facilities/plants with 30+ employees.
  • Experience managing plant financials, budgets, and P&L.
  • Continuous improvement experience including 5S and conducting improvement workshops (Kaizen).
  • In-depth knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and human resources).
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Comfortable working in various plant environments (hot, noisy, dirty) with exposure to carbon black.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for all aspects of plant performance, ensuring objectives are met cost-effectively and in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Lead initiatives to improve safety, manufacturing processes, logistics, accounting, information systems, human resources, and materials management.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts through implementation of methodologies such as 5S and Kaizen workshops.
  • Manage plant financials, budgets, and P&L, optimizing resource allocation.
  • Oversee human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of plant activities with organizational goals.


Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
