Network Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable network infrastructures with a focus on cloud migration and compliance.
Requirements:
- US Citizenship with current Top Secret Clearance
- 5-8 years of experience in network design, implementation, and administration
- Expertise in Cisco networking technologies
- Experience with network virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware ESXi, Hyper-V)
- Understanding of network security protocols (firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS)
- Experience using monitoring tools like Splunk
- Familiarity with patch management tools (WSUS, SCCM, BigFix)
- Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows Server
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in classified environments adhering to NIST standards
- Familiarity with AWS services and hybrid cloud solutions
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and cluster management
- Proficiency in advanced network management tools
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain robust network infrastructure including hardware/software components
- Migrate on-premise systems to hybrid cloud environments (AWS Secret/GovCloud)
- Ensure high availability/performance of networks; monitor/optimize/troubleshoot issues
- Manage firewalls, routers, switches; ensure security protocol compliance
- Conduct regular assessments for vulnerabilities; enhance cybersecurity posture
- Support network virtualization; oversee patch management/disaster recovery operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support dependent systems/applications
- Document configurations/processes for continuity and knowledge sharing
Pay Details: $125,000.00 to $145,000.00 per year
