Summary: Seeking an Electrical Controls Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize automation and production equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years in electrical maintenance troubleshooting on automation/production equipment.

  • 2-year degree from a vocational school in industrial electronics and controls or 10 years of industrial electrical and controls experience.

  • At least 5 years of experience with Allen Bradley Programmed Logic Control related products and ladder diagram logic.

  • Must pass D&B checks.

  • No facial hair permitted.

Preferred Skills:

  • Above average troubleshooting skills to sustain plant production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and control systems including PLCs, VFDs, motor starters, PID loop tuning, digital and analog I/O.

  • Coordinate and implement maintenance training programs related to electrical/control systems.

  • Identify best practices to reduce equipment downtime and maintenance costs.

  • Seek out unsolicited automation/control projects that enhance plant performance.

  • Use Work Order software system and other computer programs as required.

  • Support new installations, improvements, and optimization projects across the plant.

  • Provide programming, debug, and troubleshooting support for factory automation systems including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robots, motor control, electrical power distribution.



Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
