APQP Manager

Summary: Seeking an APQP Manager to enhance company profitability and competitiveness through effective program management and continuous improvement.

Job Requirements:

• College or university degree in mechanical engineering

• 10 years of experience in engineering or tooling within the automotive industry

• Tool and die experience and/or design

• Training in SPC, DFMEA/PFMEA, GD&T, APQP & PPAP, Effective Problem Solving & 8D, DOE

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with company and customer quality systems

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of specific programs from prototypes to production start-up and customer launch

• Handle all engineering changes for assigned programs

• Ensure products meet engineering/customer and manufacturing specifications

• Resolve quality concerns in consultation with relevant departments

• Maintain up-to-date drawings and ensure customer requirements are met

• Facilitate communication between various departments including production, tool room quality assurance, and engineering

Pay Details: $100,000.00 to $130,000.00 per year
