Summary: Seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager experienced in overseeing engineering projects, managing finances, and leading process innovation for battery manufacturing.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering required

  • Five (5) years of proven work experience as an Engineering Manager or similar role

  • Must pass D&B checks

  • No facial hair; must be willing to have blood drawn a few times a year

Preferred Skills:

  • Six Sigma Certification

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and oversee engineering projects

  • Manage finances and supervise the on-site engineering team

  • Define, maintain, and support battery manufacturing processes

  • Lead process innovation and enhancements for high quality and cost-effective products

  • Coordinate integration of material processing equipment for safe and cost-effective manufacturing

  • Supervise daily routines within the process engineering group; assign tasks within programs/projects scope

  • Support department budget development and control expenditures

  • Provide direction on company policies; enforce safety practices with a zero-injury mindset

  • Determine training needs for talent development within the engineering team

  • Ensure technical accuracy in team's work

  • Direct all plant engineering activities including cost analysis and quotation evaluation

  • Collaborate with production to improve throughput and ergonomics

  • Establish a collaborative team environment

  • Ensure project completion on time and budget following specified processes

  • Manage vendor/contractor relationships to meet project timelines

  • Oversee all engineering changes from quote to PPAP implementation



Pay Details: $60.00 to $81.00 per hour
