Mechanical/Electrical Field Technician

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Field Technician with expertise in troubleshooting, repairing, and installing overhead crane systems.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED

• Eligible to work various shifts

• Minimum 3 years in an industrial environment or similar military experience

• Skills in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

Preferred Skills:

• Experience as an ironworker, millwright, or facilities maintenance

Job Responsibilities:

• Electrical troubleshooting, repairing, installing, and modifying overhead crane systems

• Perform maintenance and repairs at customer facilities such as steel mills and auto manufacturing plants

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems independently or as part of a crew

• Identify needed parts, communicate with customers and engineering department, perform repairs

• Document hours, services performed, write service acknowledgements; work with computers

• Train to comply with NFPA 70E Arc Flash Protection Requirements

• Perform documented safety inspections per OSHA guidelines

Pay: 28-35
