Welding Engineer
Summary: Seeking a Welding Engineer to optimize and develop welding processes and equipment, with a focus on FANUC robots.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
Experience with welding robot applications
Knowledge of metallurgical and material science principles
Preferred Skills:
Experience with OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers
Familiarity with FANUC resistant spot welding, MIG welding, and laser cutting robots
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and improve weld equipment and processes
Optimize LASER, resistance, and ultrasonic welding equipment
Plan and conduct experimental investigations for new welding processes
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to procure new equipment
Investigate methods for joining new or dissimilar materials
Research advances in industrial welding technologies
Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
