Summary: Seeking a Welding Engineer to optimize and develop welding processes and equipment, with a focus on FANUC robots.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

  • Experience with welding robot applications

  • Knowledge of metallurgical and material science principles

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with OEM or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers

  • Familiarity with FANUC resistant spot welding, MIG welding, and laser cutting robots

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve weld equipment and processes

  • Optimize LASER, resistance, and ultrasonic welding equipment

  • Plan and conduct experimental investigations for new welding processes

  • Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to procure new equipment

  • Investigate methods for joining new or dissimilar materials

  • Research advances in industrial welding technologies



Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
