Mechanical Field Technician

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes, diagnose mechanical issues, and work on installations, upgrades, and modifications in industrial environments.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED required

• Minimum of 3 years in an industrial setting or equivalent military experience

• Skills in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

• Experience as an ironworker, millwright, or in facilities maintenance preferred

• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Preferred Skills:

• Aptitude for working at heights without fear

• Mechanical inspection expertise

• Fabrication of metal parts knowledge

• Ability to work collaboratively with technicians and project engineers

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair overhead cranes and related equipment at customer sites

• Diagnose mechanical problems within heavy industrial manufacturing facilities

• Collaborate with a team for major installations, upgrades, and modifications of equipment

• Conduct safety inspections following OSHA guidelines; provide training as needed

• Complete scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance while consulting with customers on deficiencies

• Document hours worked, services performed; write service acknowledgments; manage paperwork efficiently

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
