Summary: Seeking Mechanical Project Engineer and Manufacturing Engineer for overseeing project lifecycle, from data collection and 3D modeling to installation supervision and material procurement, with strong emphasis on safety and customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent engineering discipline.

  • Experience in engineering and project management.

  • Ability to design and analyze below the hook lift devices.

  • Proficiency in coordinating projects from conception to completion.

  • Expertise in planning and preparing material orders, maintaining deadlines, and managing budgets.

  • Capability to perform field data collection and laser surveys.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with FEA software, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.

  • Knowledge of CREO or SolidWorks for 3D modeling and creating 2D prints.

  • Familiarity with project coordination including material procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with sales team for quoting job opportunities.

  • Directly supervise subcontractors and technicians for project execution.

  • Ensure adherence to Simmers Crane Design & Service safety policies along with OSHA standards.

  • Generate required documentation as per customer specifications.

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently without compromising quality or safety standards.

  • Oversee field engineering installation supervision.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be comfortable working at heights and capable of working both office-based tasks as well as performing outdoor duties under various weather conditions. Drug screening and background checks are mandatory before hiring.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour
