Mechanical Field Technician

Summary: Seeking a Mechanical Field Technician to maintain and repair overhead cranes, with a focus on safety and team collaboration.

Job Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED

• At least 3 years in an industrial environment or similar Military Experience

• Skills and experience in welding, electrical, and mechanical maintenance

• Preferred experience as an ironworker, millwright, or facilities maintenance

Preferred Skills:

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on overhead cranes and related equipment at customer facilities

• Diagnose mechanical problems with equipment in heavy industrial manufacturing facilities

• Collaborate with other technicians and project engineers for installations, upgrades, and modifications

• Train to perform safety inspections of equipment per OSHA guidelines

• Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance; consult with customers about deficiencies; complete all required paperwork

• Document hours of service performed; write service acknowledgments; work with computers

Additional Notes:

• Entry-level candidates will also be considered

• Must pass D&B checks

• No ITAR work regulations required; security clearance not needed

• Position open to US Citizens (No Green Card/OPT/EAD/F1/H1B/TN Visa)

• Willingness to work at heights is essential

 

 

 

 

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
