Summary: Seeking Electrical Project Engineers to manage and oversee industrial motor control electrical systems projects for crane services, ensuring compliance with NEC and project specifications.

Requirements:

  • BS in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering.

  • Knowledge of industrial motor control electrical systems (VFDs, PLCs, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC).

  • Ability to interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams.

  • Experience in industrial construction and project management.

  • Supervisory skills for subcontractor qualification and oversight.

  • AutoCAD proficiency for creating wiring drawings and schedules.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with overhead and gantry cranes.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate project viability against criteria, contract compliance, and performance standards.

  • Conduct site evaluations and inspections.

  • Develop preliminary designs to support sales efforts.

  • Participate in engineering design process including submittals and overseeing subcontractor designs.

  • Manage field projects, directing contractors to meet contract specs, budgets, and timelines.

  • Provide comprehensive project management across all phases.

  • Handle quality control, financials, safety aspects of the project.

  • Produce project documentation including manuals and as-built drawings.

  • Utilize electrical troubleshooting equipment effectively.

  • Travel as required for projects; respond to emergency calls.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $32.00 to $42.00 per hour
