Summary: Seeking a Designer with advanced AutoCAD skills for a 6-month contract, focusing on mechanical design, drafting, and industrial equipment support.

Job Requirements:

  • Advanced AutoCAD user

  • Strong background in mechanical design and drafting

  • Experience with industrial equipment

  • Proficiency in taking and documenting field measurements on the shop floor

  • Strong attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with general arrangement drawings of industrial plant layouts and capital equipment design and drafting

  • Experience creating drawings from field measurements

  • Project management experience

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work under the direction of a Lead Engineer to support installation and start-up of large, complex industrial process equipment

  • Take field measurements and create equipment drawings to accurately document existing systems

  • Make changes to red-lined mechanical and electrical (schematics) drawings using AutoCAD (2D)

  • Assist the Lead Engineer with various engineering and project management tasks

 

 



Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
