Electrical Tester Job Posting

Seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to conduct tests on production products and maintain quality standards.

  • HS Diploma or equivalent, minimum 2 years in manufacturing environment
  • Two-year technician degree or equivalent
  • Experience/training with basic electricity and handling fiber optic products
  • Ability to use test equipment (Meggers, Ohm-meters, optical test equipment)
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office programs
  • Flexible work hours, ability to work overtime when needed
  • Steel Tip Safety Shoes and Safety Glasses required
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct procedural tests on production products and incoming materials
  • Understand and use test equipment, fixtures, and procedures
  • Maintain security and calibration control for quality verification equipment
  • Notify errors to support teams (Quality, Manufacturing Engineering)
  • Complete documentation (shop packs, quality test reports) accurately and timely
  • Enter data into the ERP system accurately and timely
  • Maintain high quality standards and workmanship
  • Communicate with all departments within the company
  • Maintain a safe working environment
  • Identify and communicate special tooling needs
