Summary: Seeking a Sr. Civil Engineer specialized in naval facilities design and consultation, providing independent and professional civil engineering support for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other supported Commands.

Requirements:

  • Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Civil Engineering is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional civil engineering code compliant facilities design experience for new construction, including renovation design.

  • BS/MS degree in CE from an Accreditation Board for Engineers and Technology (ABET) accredited university.

  • Considerable hands-on CE facilities design experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide civil engineering support, services and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities.

  • Participate in conferences with project stakeholders and collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure system coordination.

  • Support various civil engineering projects/services including site developments, roads, airfields, water supply, sewer systems etc.

Preferred skills:

  • Knowledge of DOD and Navy guide specifications, criteria and policy.

  • Skill in using software/systems like Whole Building Design Guide (WBGD), AutoCAD etc.

  • Ability to produce results of analysis in writing and make oral presentations of proposed designs.

  • Full compliance with Safety Policy and Guidance.

 

 

 

 



Pay Details: $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year
