Develop, implement, and maintain calibration processes to ensure measurement instruments meet required specifications and industry standards.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Calibration Technician certification (such as ISO 17025) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in the use of precision measurement tools and calibration equipment.
  • Strong understanding of measurement principles and calibration techniques.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement calibration processes and procedures.
  • Coordinate calibrations with third-party service providers.
  • Perform precise calibration of measurement instruments including calipers, height gages, pin gages, and micrometers.
  • Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, results, and adjustments.
  • Ensure all tools meet required specifications and address any discrepancies.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on calibration equipment.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and ISO 17025.
  • Work closely with operations and production to support measurement needs.
  • Assist in training new technicians on measurement equipment care and techniques.
  • Support Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Nondestructive Testing, Final Inspection, and Production teams on special projects.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System in alignment with aerospace industry standards.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with QMS policies and procedures.


Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
