Seeking a Systems Engineer to lead and execute systems engineering activities, including requirements management, configuration management, and human factors engineering for NASA-related projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or a related field (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or Nuclear Engineering) with at least 3 years of relevant experience (or 9 years of related experience without a degree).
  • Detailed understanding of systems engineering principles, requirements management, and methods.
  • Experience evaluating, selecting, and applying standard engineering methods, techniques, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and standards relevant to systems engineering.
  • Proficiency in systems engineering tools such as CRADLE, IBM® Rational DOORS®, or Innoslate.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and other common computer programs.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with procedures meeting quality assurance programs such as ISO-9000.
  • International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) Certification.
  • Experience with RAMI/FMECA analysis and system modeling.
  • Familiarity with requirements implementation in complex industrial facility design.
  • Experience with SE implementation on projects for NASA or similar government agencies.
  • Experience working on large, complex EPC contracts.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage systems engineering activities, ensuring integration across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee requirements management, configuration management, and human factors engineering.
  • Apply engineering principles to assess, validate, and verify complex designs.
  • Coordinate systems engineering tools and methodologies to support project objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards in engineering processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and support across multidisciplinary teams.


Pay Details: $42.00 to $56.00 per hour
