Job Summary: Primary support of 1st and 2nd shift manufacturing activities and flexible with regards to working hours from day to day or week to week.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in technical discipline or equivalent discipline
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must currently have or have the ability to obtain a DoD issued Secret security clearance (granted to U.S. citizens)
  • Must have prior experience working with Prime defense contractors
  • Ability to travel as needed, including internationally (5%)

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficient with drawing interpretations and GD&T
  • Willing to work independently and in cross-functional teams
  • Willing to update technical processes and/or procedures
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (knowledge of Access Database is a plus)
  • Experience working with Prime defense contractors & DoD
  • Previous Program Quality Assurance lead experience
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • IPC 610 IPC 620 certification
  • Familiarity with MicroVu Inspection Equipment & CMMs
  • Experience interacting with DCMA
  • Oracle – AGILE quality module
  • Knowledgeable in GD&T
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Experience with Receiving Inspection activities
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 QMS
  • ASQ CQA/CQE/CQM certifications
  • Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance procedures and processes in a manufacturing production operation

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support of multiple programs and projects running simultaneously
  • Develop, maintain, present, & distribute quality metrics as it pertains to assigned programs
  • Develop part inspection plans for receiving inspection
  • Perform first article inspections
  • Perform in-process inspections
  • Perform final product inspections & lead customer source inspection (as required)
  • Perform internal/eternal ISO process audits
  • Attend Quality Management Meetings & Program Reviews (as required)
  • Assist in developing/maintaining PFMEAs & control plans as it pertains to assigned programs
  • Assist in continuous improvement activities
  • Lead effective corrective and preventative actions
  • Review and approve engineering change orders
  • Interact with DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency)
  • Support the Material Review Board (MRB)
  • Review/modify quality requirements for supplier purchase orders (as required)
  • Manage supplier quality assurance as it pertains to assigned programs
  • Manage supplier and customer escapes
  • Perform supplier source inspections


Pay Details: $230,000.00 to $250,000.00 per year
