Project Manager
Summary:
Seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager with an engineering degree and 5-8 years of project management experience in the automotive industry to lead verification and validation test plans and ensure project deliverables are met.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of project management experience (automotive industry preferred)
- PMP Certification
- Experience with DVP and Agile methodology
- Familiarity with North American automotive safety regulations (FMVSS/CMVSS)
- Proficiency in quality tools such as risk analysis, FMEA, and project assurance quality
- Proven leadership experience
Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and manage verification and validation test plans for vehicle features and regulations
- Deliver project requirements with a focus on quality, cost, and feature targets (QDCF)
- Manage incoming test requests and assess project risks with Feature Engineers
- Define test plan prioritization and communicate risks proactively
- Represent the Complete Vehicle organization in project management teams, design reviews, and related activities
- Identify and allocate necessary resources, including simulation, rig testing, and test vehicles
- Lead feature reviews and report on feature fulfillment, verification, and validation status
- Contribute to project documentation, including requirement specifications, project descriptions, risk registers, and lessons learned
- Ensure project time plans cover all necessary activities for component, system, and function validation
Pay Details: $33.00 to $44.00 per hour
