Provides technical and sustaining engineering support in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process development, equipment optimization, and integration of material capabilities to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering or related field
  • 6+ years of experience in injection molding process development
  • Knowledge of scientific molding principles
  • Experience with RJG cavity pressure systems
  • Background in a regulated industry

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in process validation and manufacturing transfer
  • Understanding of material selection and tooling design
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and process optimization
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry standards

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize injection molding processes to improve production efficiency and quality
  • Implement equipment and process modifications to enhance manufacturing techniques and yields
  • Integrate material and equipment capabilities to meet target specifications
  • Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure process compatibility
  • Conduct feasibility studies, material selection, and equipment assessments for new manufacturing concepts
  • Lead process validation and ensure compliance with industry regulations
  • Utilize statistical process control techniques and recommend improvements to measurement systems
  • Oversee tooling, fixture, and equipment installation to align with manufacturing requirements


Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
