Software Simulation Systems Engineer
Summary:
Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and system analysis to ensure the logical and systematic conversion of requirements into total system solutions.
Requirements:
- Active Secret Clearance (MUST)
- 5-15 years of experience operating in Linux environments
- 5-15 years of experience in C++ programming related to modeling and simulation applications
- 5-15 years of experience with Python, MATLAB, and scripting languages such as Bash
- 5-15 years of experience in Guidance, Navigation, and/or Controls disciplines
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with system integration, verification, and validation
- Background in functional analysis, timeline analysis, and trade studies
- Understanding of cost and risk assessment for total system solutions
- Experience translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and cost and risk analysis
- Conduct analyses at all levels of the system lifecycle, from concept and design to maintenance and disposal
- Convert customer or product requirements into total system solutions within technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Perform functional analysis, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies
- Develop and maintain modeling and simulation applications in C++
- Utilize Python, MATLAB, and scripting tools for analysis and automation
- Support system operations, maintenance, and technical documentation efforts
Pay Details: $65.00 to $72.00 per hour
