Design and implement electrical systems for renewable energy projects and power generation facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience in electrical engineering with an emphasis on power generation
  • Familiarity with hydro, gas, and fossil power generating facilities
  • Knowledge of microgrids, solar, wind, and battery storage systems
  • Proficiency in performing calculations and conceptual designs for greenfield renewable projects
  • Experience with low voltage and medium voltage power distribution and motor controls
  • Ability to interface industrial processes with DCS and/or PLC systems
  • Proficiency in using power distribution system modeling software (ETAP or similar)
  • Familiarity with panel design and working in a 3D environment

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform calculations and conceptual designs for greenfield renewable projects
  • Work on multi-discipline projects in hydro, gas, and fossil power generating facilities
  • Design and implement low voltage and medium voltage power distribution systems
  • Develop motor controls for both low voltage and medium voltage systems
  • Interface industrial processes with DCS and/or PLC systems
  • Utilize power distribution system modeling software such as ETAP or similar
  • Design panels and work within a 3D environment


Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
