Develop and test embedded software for safety-critical systems in accordance with DO-178C guidelines.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience per DO-178C
  • Proficiency in C programming language
  • Ability to create software design documents and low-level software requirements
  • Ability to read and produce Requirements-Based Tests
  • Familiarity with terminal emulator programs (e.g., TeraTerm)
  • Experience using electrical test equipment such as multimeters, logic analyzers, power supplies, and oscilloscopes

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with electrical energy storage systems
  • Knowledge of I2C communications and MIL-STD-1553 communications protocol
  • Proficiency with Git version control system
  • Experience using Keil uVision development environment
  • Familiarity with Axivion static code analysis tool
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop embedded software in compliance with DO-178C standards
  • Create and maintain software design documents and low-level requirements
  • Perform Requirements-Based Testing for software validation
  • Utilize terminal emulator programs for system testing and debugging
  • Work with electrical test equipment for troubleshooting and validation
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate and test software on embedded systems
  • Conduct software version control and configuration management using Git
  • Analyze and improve code quality using static analysis tools such as Axivion


Pay Details: $65.00 to $87.00 per hour
