Manufacturing Engineer

Summary:
Support business strategies by implementing engineered systems, developing lean enterprise practices, and optimizing manufacturing processes for new product introductions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related STEM discipline

• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Development (NPD)

• Proficiency in DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability and Assembly), FMEA, 3P (Production, Preparation Process), 7-Ways, and Lean Six Sigma Methodology

• Ability to lead issue containment, investigations, problem-solving, statistical studies, and corrective action planning

• Hands-on aptitude for mechanical and electrical applications related to equipment and processes

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HVAC systems or heavy industrial manufacturing

• Integrated manufacturing experience in machining, fabrication, welding, electrical systems, or assembly processes

• Strong background in cause/effect analysis and continuous improvement methodologies

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and define manufacturing processes for new product introductions and product enhancement programs

• Serve as a voice of the customer in new design development to ensure manufacturability and quality

• Create and maintain work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work procedures

• Provide technical leadership for resolving manufacturing process and product design issues

• Conduct cause/effect analyses, investigations, and corrective action planning

• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency, safety, and product quality

Pay: 35-46

Pay Details: $35.00 to $46.00 per hour
