Design and develop mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies, focusing on electrical switchboards, skids, and automated equipment.

Job Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience with 3D modeling software (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
  • Prior experience in manufacturing required (preferred experience with electrical equipment and sheet metal assemblies)
  • Experience programming CNC equipment for fabrication preferred (waterjet, laser, plasma, press brake, etc.)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create 3D models of mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies, with a focus on electrical switchboards, skids, and automated equipment
  • Work with complex assemblies using rule and table-based design features
  • Collaborate with a team of designers to meet deadlines for customer design submittals
  • Interpret customer specifications and internal guidelines to develop custom engineering solutions
  • Generate detail drawings for customer submittals, internal assembly drawings, machining, fabrication, and catalog documentation
  • Specify and select purchased components for use in designs based on engineering requirements
  • Develop electrical schematics and single-line diagrams for integrated electrical products
  • Support fabrication and machining by assisting with equipment programming, setup, and operational troubleshooting


Pay Details: $24.00 to $33.00 per hour
