Instrument Engineer
Instrument Engineer will focus on inline instrumentation and PLC control systems, including development of Instrument List, I/O List, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Control and RIO Panel Details/Interconnect, Instrument Cable Schedule, Instrument wiring diagrams, and input into P&IDs, instrument data sheets, and control philosophy generated by process engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop Instrument List and I/O List
- Create Cause and Effect Diagrams
- Design Control and RIO Panel Details/Interconnect
- Generate Instrument Cable Schedule and Instrument Wiring Diagrams
- Provide input into P&IDs, instrument data sheets, and control philosophy generated by process engineers
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5+ years of oil and gas upstream or midstream experience
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with inline instrumentation and PLC control systems
- Familiarity with control system architecture and industrial automation
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to instrumentation
- Ability to interpret and develop detailed engineering documents and schematics
Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
