Instrument Engineer will focus on inline instrumentation and PLC control systems, including development of Instrument List, I/O List, Cause and Effect Diagrams, Control and RIO Panel Details/Interconnect, Instrument Cable Schedule, Instrument wiring diagrams, and input into P&IDs, instrument data sheets, and control philosophy generated by process engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop Instrument List and I/O List
  • Create Cause and Effect Diagrams
  • Design Control and RIO Panel Details/Interconnect
  • Generate Instrument Cable Schedule and Instrument Wiring Diagrams
  • Provide input into P&IDs, instrument data sheets, and control philosophy generated by process engineers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5+ years of oil and gas upstream or midstream experience

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with inline instrumentation and PLC control systems
  • Familiarity with control system architecture and industrial automation
  • Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to instrumentation
  • Ability to interpret and develop detailed engineering documents and schematics


Pay Details: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour
