Summary:
Design, develop, and troubleshoot FPGA firmware and embedded software applications, supporting hardware development and system integration efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Experience with FPGA and firmware architecture and design

  • Proficiency in System Verilog and/or VHDL, C, C++, and Matlab

  • Knowledge of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers

  • Experience in digital signal processing (DSP)

  • Active Secret DoD Security Clearance

Preferred Skills:

  • VHDL experience preferred, though System Verilog experience is also beneficial

  • Exposure to hardware design principles and integration

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and debug firmware for FPGA-based systems, including IC embedded code applications

  • Perform design architecture activities for various programs and IRAD projects

  • Program in machine language, assembly language, and high-level languages such as System Verilog, VHDL, C, and C++

  • Collaborate with the hardware engineering team to complete hardware development, simulation, and verification for digital signal processing and general processing projects

  • Support integrated product teams, engineering project managers, and program office staff to meet customer objectives and program milestones

Pay: 60-70

Pay Details: $60.00 to $70.00 per hour
