Seeking a 1-3 year Mechanical Engineer to transition into a Project Coordinator role with growth into a Project Manager position, focusing on vessel fabrication, P&ID/PFD development, and project execution within the oil and gas industry.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and the internal project team.
  • Lead project teams to ensure the delivery of quality deliverables, maintaining budget and schedule.
  • Identify and manage scope changes or additions and develop Management of Change documents.
  • Develop project execution strategies to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Conduct and lead project reviews, design reviews, PHA meetings, and weekly meetings.
  • Prepare and maintain MS Project schedules based on input from engineering disciplines.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and maintain project cost control documentation.
  • Prepare project status reports by analyzing information and trends.
  • Review vendor quotes, develop technical bid evaluations, and perform clarifications.
  • Coordinate vendor documentation and squad checks to align with design objectives.
  • Redline and develop P&IDs and PFDs as needed.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in the oil and gas or gas plant industry.
  • Experience with vessel fabrication, data sheets, sizing, and P&ID/PFD development.
  • Proficiency in MS Project for scheduling.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience monitoring and maintaining cost control documentation.
  • Knowledge of technical bid evaluations and vendor quote reviews.
  • Familiarity with company standard operating procedures and project execution practices.


Pay Details: $36.00 to $48.00 per hour
