Responsible for the design and development of sheet metal and injection molded mechanical parts using SolidWorks 2022 for new product development (NPD) projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required).
  • Experience in new product development (NPD) of sheet metal and injection molded parts.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks 2022 for clean sheet mechanical design.
  • Familiarity with designing comparable products, such as home appliances.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with manufacturing processes for sheet metal and injection molding.
  • Knowledge of material selection and mechanical part tolerances.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle management from concept to production.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical components using SolidWorks 2022, focusing on sheet metal and injection molded parts.
  • Create new product designs from a clean sheet, ensuring functionality and manufacturability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Review and validate designs to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure components meet design requirements and manufacturing capabilities.
  • Maintain accurate design documentation and project records throughout the product development process.


Pay Details: $40.00 to $54.00 per hour
