Summary:
Responsible for designing, implementing, and sustaining single piece flow lines to improve production efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize manufacturing processes using lean principles.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or engineering roles

  • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools, including Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, Kaizen events, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)

  • Experience designing and implementing single piece flow lines in production environments

  • Proficiency in data analysis to measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead time, throughput, and quality


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with standardized work development and visual management systems

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and waste elimination strategies

  • Knowledge of equipment reliability programs and process optimization techniques

  • Strong ability to collaborate across departments, including quality, maintenance, and engineering

  • Previous experience conducting audits and sustainability assessments


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement single piece flow lines to meet production requirements, reduce lead times, and improve quality

  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify waste and improvement opportunities

  • Apply lean manufacturing principles to eliminate non-value-added activities and reduce variability in production processes

  • Develop and implement standardized work instructions and visual management systems

  • Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and other stakeholders to communicate changes and improvements

  • Provide training and coaching to production staff on new processes and lean principles

  • Monitor performance data to ensure the effectiveness of single piece flow lines and identify further improvement opportunities

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure sustainability of lean initiatives and process improvements

  • Participate in Kaizen events and workshops to drive continuous improvement efforts

  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure delivery of high-quality materials and services


Scope and Expectations:

  • Work closely with production teams to implement and sustain process improvements

  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to ensure alignment and support of lean initiatives

  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in lean manufacturing and process optimization

  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills in lean methodologies

Pay: 40-50

Pay Details: $40.00 to $50.00 per hour
