Software Engineer (Unreal Engine)
Summary:
Responsible for developing and maintaining software for training and simulation products, including implementing advanced rendering features and optimizing performance for next-generation systems.
Job Requirements:
- Proficiency in C++ programming
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 or newer
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Experience in game or graphic programming using OpenGL, Direct3D, HLSL, or GLSL
- Solid understanding of mathematics, including matrix algebra, projective geometry, and vector math
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
Preferred Skills:
- Experience implementing rendering features such as shading, lighting, and weather effects
- Familiarity with multi-threading, anti-aliasing, load balancing, dynamic paging, and display interfaces
- Knowledge of animation systems and advanced graphical techniques
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain software supporting training and simulation product lines
- Implement rendering, shading, lighting, and weather effects in simulation environments
- Optimize software performance through multi-threading and load balancing
- Participate in all phases of software development, including requirements assessment, design, coding, testing, and integration
- Conduct peer reviews and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Provide maintenance and end-user support for deployed software solutions
- Contribute to the research and development of next-generation simulation products
Pay Details: $42.00 to $57.00 per hour
