Assistant Project Manager
Summary:
Support project managers by overseeing the design, execution, and management of LNG projects, including liquefaction, storage, truck transfer, and vaporization, while coordinating field operations and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Job Requirements:
- BS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in cryogenic, natural gas, petrochemical, oil, or power systems
- Hands-on site/field experience with equipment installation, operation, or troubleshooting
- Familiarity with industry standards, including 49 CFR 193, NFPA 59A, ASME B31.3, and BPVC Section VIII
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
- P.E. License desired
Preferred Skills:
- Experience specifying pumps, compressors, valves, heat exchangers, heaters, coolers, boilers, and pressure vessels
- Knowledge of project scheduling, budget tracking, and client reporting
- Ability to develop cost estimates and proposals for clients
- Familiarity with field commissioning and troubleshooting during LNG plant startup
- Strong understanding of fabrication and construction drawings for plant piping and equipment
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers with client relationship development, project execution, and schedule and budget management
- Develop and oversee design for all aspects of LNG projects, including equipment and systems
- Review calculations, equipment specifications, requisitions, and drawings to ensure accuracy
- Support field commissioning and troubleshooting during LNG plant startup and operations
- Assist with construction site setup and coordination, communication with contractors, and tracking schedules and budgets
- Report project status, budget, and schedule to senior management and clients
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimize plant piping and equipment systems
- Travel to project sites as needed (approximately 10-15% of the time)
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
