Summary: Electrical Technician responsible for assisting with equipment assembly, installation, debugging, and troubleshooting while adhering to safety, quality, and project specifications.


Job Requirements:

  • One-year certificate from college or technical school, or equivalent combination of education and 5+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency with electrical meters for debugging and troubleshooting hardwire circuits.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, layouts, and control drawings.
  • Familiarity with customer specifications and project timelines.
  • Own tools and PPE required for job functions.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift/move up to 25 pounds.
  • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with E-BOM updates and non-BOM material ordering.
  • Understanding of layouts for electrical equipment such as panels, weld controllers, and panel views.
  • Knowledge of quality systems and continuous improvement processes.
  • Familiarity with reading and interpreting technical procedures and specifications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Electrical Supervisor with disassembling, shipping, and installing equipment in customer facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug hardwire circuits using electrical meters.
  • Layout and install associated electrical equipment around system perimeters.
  • Update E-BOM summary weekly and coordinate with the Electrical Supervisor.
  • Ensure customer specifications are followed and assist with open issues and concerns.
  • Travel to customer sites for equipment installations as needed.
  • Maintain adherence to safety regulations and cleanliness in the work area.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while meeting scheduled deadlines.
  • Perform material follow-ups and attend team meetings.


Pay Details: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour
