Mechanical Engineer
Designs and develops new or existing products, components, or assemblies, with a focus on automotive, AG, or DOD vehicles and electric vehicles (EVs).
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience.
- Experience with automotive, AG, or DOD vehicles.
- Extensive experience with CATIA V5.
- Experience working with electric vehicles (EVs).
- Previous Volvo experience is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with mock-up, pilot, and test assemblies.
- Experience coordinating product and process changes across production sites.
- Proficiency in mathematical modeling for design feasibility analysis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support local production sites and serve as a liaison between production and product development.
- Coordinate product change implementations on-site.
- Apply engineering principles to develop cost-efficient and functional products.
- Conduct design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototypes.
- Design product-specific manufacturing processes and equipment.
Additional Details:
- This role requires a specialist in product engineering, typically obtained through 8+ years of relevant experience.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $44.00 per hour
