Director QA QC
Seeking a professional with extensive experience in construction management and quality assurance/quality control in higher education, research, laboratory, or healthcare projects.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of construction experience in higher education, research, laboratory, or healthcare projects.
- Minimum 10 years of QA/QC experience in architectural, engineering, or construction fields.
- Current OSHA 30 certification.
- Certification in USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM).
- Experience managing multiple reports.
- Thorough knowledge of design and construction trades, practices, and techniques.
- Expert knowledge of construction/inspection principles, theories, and concepts.
- Expert knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Construction Safety guidelines and training.
Preferred Skills and Education:
- MBA or MS in Construction Management.
- Engineering or Architecture license.
- Experience in higher education or academic institutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct, monitor, and assess needs and resources for a major functional area within a university office.
- Plan and implement solutions for complex problems affecting multiple functional areas.
- Participate in long-term planning to align with university goals and objectives.
- Establish and implement consistent policies across multiple functional areas.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and ordinances.
- Develop and monitor goals and objectives for managerial and professional staff.
- Direct and oversee a team of exempt and non-exempt employees.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
