Mechanical Engineer responsible for medical device electronics packaging, including design and development of implantable and peripheral components.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
  • 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with FDA 21 CFR 820 Design Controls.
  • Proficiency in Creo or SolidWorks.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with battery-powered implantable devices.
  • Expertise in microprocessor controller enclosures, external battery enclosures, AC/DC adapters, and peripheral device cabling.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronics packaging for medical devices, including implantable and external components.
  • Create and optimize designs for microprocessor-controlled enclosures and battery-powered systems.
  • Design external battery enclosures, AC/DC adapters, and peripheral cabling.
  • Ensure compliance with FDA 21 CFR 820 Design Controls throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Utilize Creo or SolidWorks to develop 3D models, detailed drawings, and design documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support design verification, validation, and product release activities.


Pay Details: $45.00 to $65.00 per hour
