Job Posting Summary
Seeking a Module Project Manager in Vehicle Suspensions to oversee project coordination, ensure design targets are met, and support the development of modular systems in a state-of-the-art research and development environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in product development within the transportation industry, preferably in truck development.
- Knowledge of Class 8 heavy-duty trucks chassis structure, axle, suspension, and vehicle dynamics.
- Basic CAD experience (CREO-AVP).
- Project management experience; certification is a plus.
- Agile framework experience and knowledge of Design Verification Plan (DVP).
- Ability to work with engineers and designers globally to optimize systems, processes, and methods.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of steering and suspension systems.
- Previous product ownership experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Represent the Vehicle Suspension Team in stream project meetings and communicate project needs to engineers.
- Ensure new designs meet business targets and Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Feature requirements.
- Front-load work for robust early-stage releases and stable late-stage releases.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable vehicle regulations.
- Develop modular systems and components to optimize part diversity.
- Integrate team deliveries and ensure quality readiness before release.
- Communicate project delivery updates during daily team leadership meetings.
- Create or support the creation of features for each Product Increment, ensuring plans align with product stream needs.
Pay Details: $33.00 to $44.00 per hour
