Sr. RF Components Engineer
Job Posting Summary
Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support component engineering, part selection, and BOM maintenance for RF components in a secure environment.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Experience in component engineering with RF components.
- Proficiency with PTC Windchill for BOM maintenance.
- Active Secret Clearance required to start.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RF component selection.
- Experience with part qualification and failure analysis.
- Knowledge of military standards and automotive electronics standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Research component termination styles, plastic encapsulation styles, and component construction processes.
- Generate vendor identification drawings, source control drawings, and altered item drawings.
- Lead component part standardization and selection efforts.
- Process change notices in PTC Windchill and maintain the engineering BOM per organizational processes.
- Develop component qualification test plans and execute part qualifications with test facilities.
- Create and implement component screening procedures as directed by parts management plans.
- Present part changes and their hardware impact to customers.
- Lead component failure investigations and participate in alternate test house qualification for part finish mitigations.
- Analyze and address the impact of PCNs and obsolescence on programs.
- Mentor less experienced engineers in parts management and component knowledge.
Pay Details: $60.00 to $80.00 per hour
