Test Engineer II

Summary:
Perform design verification and validation activities, including writing and executing test protocols, developing test methods, and ensuring the quality and reliability of medical products.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (BSEE preferred).

• 3-5 years of experience in test engineering.

• Experience in developing and implementing test methods and equipment.

• Familiarity with technical standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques related to test engineering.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with automated testing design and execution.

• Knowledge of verification and validation processes for medical devices or similar regulated industries.

• Familiarity with defect tracking, analysis, and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule testing activities, including equipment, tools, fixtures, and phantom design.

• Compile data and define necessary changes to test equipment, procedures, or processes.

• Generate and execute verification and validation plans for new or modified products.

• Ensure test equipment is functional and properly calibrated.

• Coordinate and oversee testing at external facilities.

• Develop systems for test tracking, monitoring, and data recording.

• Troubleshoot, debug, maintain, and support existing products.

• Participate in product development phases, including reviewing requirements, usability, risk assessment, and defect resolution.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.

Pay: 29-39

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
