Summary:
Perform civil and structural design for utility infrastructure projects, including electrical substations, transmission lines, pipelines, and renewable energy facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program, or a related Engineering Technology degree with Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam completion.

  • Strong experience in oil, gas, or refinery industries.

  • Proficiency in civil and structural design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, BIM (Revit), Civil 3D, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, and MathCADD.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

  • PE license preferred.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in designing shallow and deep foundations.

  • Familiarity with utility infrastructure design, including rigid bus systems and oil containment systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze shallow and deep foundations, including slab, mat, spread footings, drilled piers, and steel piles.

  • Perform structural analysis for utility infrastructure such as substations and pipelines.

  • Analyze rigid bus systems for structural capacity and stress/deflection assessments.

  • Design oil containment systems for electrical equipment.

  • Modify and review production drawings for a variety of projects.

  • Compile project data, prepare studies, and design reports.

  • Assist in construction execution, including the development of specifications and cost estimates.

  • Collaborate with design teams to meet specific project requirements.

Pay: 54-72

Pay Details: $54.00 to $72.00 per hour
