Manufacturing Tooling Engineer
Summary:
Design and procure tooling for cab and vehicle assembly with expertise in Creo or Catia, ensuring efficient collaboration and ergonomic standards.
Job Requirements:
- Creo or Catia tooling design experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering, or Associate’s degree with equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and equipment engineering and design.
- Working knowledge of 2D/3D engineering drawings and proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with PDM systems like ENOVIA or Windchill.
- Understanding of ergonomic standards and practical application.
Preferred Skills:
- Background in a related industry (not limited to automotive).
- Cost estimation and business case development experience.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and procure fastening tools, lifting systems, material supply carts, fixtures, jigs, assembly aids, and hand tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and implement designs.
- Ensure adherence to ergonomic standards in tooling design and application.
Pay Details: $31.00 to $42.00 per hour
