Manages and oversees the calibration schedule and compliance of measuring and test equipment, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Job Requirements:

  • High school education with 6+ years of hands-on calibration or technical experience.
  • Knowledge of calibration systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with AS and ISO standards.
  • Proficient in standard personal computer operations and software applications such as Word, Excel, Project, and Access.
  • Experience using statistical tools (e.g., JMP).
  • Preferably 1+ years of experience in the aerospace or automotive industry.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification as a Calibration Technician (CCT) from the American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the calibration schedule for all measuring and test equipment to ensure timely and compliant calibrations.
  • Maintain accurate calibration records and database, including instrument history, status, and future needs.
  • Coordinate outsourced calibrations with external service providers, including shipping, receiving, and compliance reviews.
  • Issue calibration certificates and labels, ensuring proper application to calibrated equipment.
  • Identify and segregate out-of-tolerance equipment, coordinating corrective actions.
  • Minimize production impact during calibration activities by working with internal teams.
  • Provide training on proper use and care of measuring and test equipment.
  • Develop and implement improved calibration procedures and processes.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Manage calibration standards, reference materials, and electronic records in compliance with QSR requirements.
  • Generate reports and metrics on calibration activities for management.
  • Coordinate resolution of nonconformance issues, including status reports, bad actors, delinquencies, and NCRs.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $27.00 per hour
