Site Safety Health Officer
Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of site safety on federal construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Job Requirements:
- OSHA 30 certification and First Aid/CPR certification.
- Experience with federal projects, including U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) requirements.
- Knowledge of EM 385 safety standards.
- Hazmat safety experience.
- Construction safety experience.
- QC certification (highly desirable).
Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of applicable safety and building regulations, including OSHA standards.
- Experience coordinating with subcontractors, contractors, and ownership to ensure safety compliance.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all site safety aspects on construction projects from start to finish.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
- Implement project safety plans and protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address safety concerns.
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to maintain smooth execution of safety protocols.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $47.00 per hour
