Summary:
Operates and repairs facility utility plant with shift responsibilities, maintaining utility systems and anticipating maintenance and repair needs.

Job Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of reading and executing engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Expertise in electrical and mechanical upgrades for existing and new equipment.
  • Proficiency in conducting market research for equipment selection, energy efficiency, security, and budget considerations.
  • Experience providing independent solutions to time-sensitive mission requirements.
  • Proficient in Department of Defense (DOD) and military training and equipment requirements.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certifications in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs, maintenance, adjustments, modifications, inspections, and preventive maintenance on:
    • Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
    • Refrigeration systems.
    • Plumbing systems.
    • Pipe-fitting and welding.
    • Electrical wiring systems.
  • Operate and control utility systems and computers, including shutting down and bringing up systems as needed.
  • Anticipate and address power plant equipment repair, maintenance, and installation requirements.


Pay Details: $25.00 to $31.00 per hour
