Summary:
Responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating company products to ensure precision and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements, while supporting supplier quality improvement and resolving quality issues.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (minimum degree requirement)
  • Basic blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) skills
  • Basic measurement skills using inspection equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred
  • Expertise in thermal technology, lasers, machining/molding, and/or electronics is a plus
  • Preferred expertise in optics

Job Responsibilities:

  • Use computer systems to manage files and work on testing/inspection equipment
  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) by providing feedback on component quality levels
  • Manage non-conformance material (NCM) through reporting, preparation, and return of parts to suppliers
  • Verify received parts for compliance with customer specifications
  • Resolve supplier quality issues and attend Material Review Board (MRB)/NCM activities
  • Assist with the RMA process and coordinate product purges due to supplier defects
  • Work with suppliers on-site and assist with sorting products
  • Analyze nonconformities and discrepancies related to various systems (assembly, mechanical, etc.)
  • Investigate discrepancies and develop corrective actions and plans
  • Engage in Material Review Board and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA) activities
  • Interface with manufacturing, engineering, customers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are met
  • Manage program quality cost accounts and supplier corrective actions
  • Serve as the primary contact for customers and suppliers regarding quality matters


Pay Details: $24.00 to $32.00 per hour
