Seeking a Quality Manager to lead the quality function across three Wisconsin plants, ensuring all final product shipments meet or exceed customer requirements, supported by a team of direct and indirect reports.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the quality function within a Life Science, Food, Pharmaceutical, or similar business environment; microbial fermentation experience is a plus.
  • Proven team leadership with a focus on driving results.
  • Experience building and improving Quality systems (ISO 9001, FSSC 22000); preference for Preventive Controls Qualified Individuals and knowledge of microbiology.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and challenge the status quo.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and achieve results.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage the quality function across three plants manufacturing cultures, enzymes, and flavors, ensuring customer specifications are met.
  • Lead a team of 12 Quality professionals, including Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles.
  • Ensure products and related documentation align with customer and country-specific needs and incorporate relevant regional quality requirements into processes.
  • Establish and integrate a quality system at First Choice Ingredients (FCI) that aligns with dsm-firmenich quality standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage quality function risks effectively.


Pay Details: $45.00 to $55.00 per hour
