Job Summary:
Conducts prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting to support product development and testing activities, including mechanical and electrical assembly and system integration.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to read schematics
  • Experience in troubleshooting and prototyping
  • Proficiency in mechanical assembly and wiring harness assembly
  • Skilled in lead-free soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components on PCBs

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with setting up and operating test equipment
  • Background in system integration and testing
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and data analysis for technical troubleshooting

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct prototype builds and support engineering staff in system integration
  • Assemble mechanical components and wiring harnesses
  • Perform lead-free soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components on printed circuit boards
  • Set up, maintain, repair, calibrate, and adjust test equipment as directed
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of test stands, fixtures, and test equipment
  • Document test results and analyze systems, processes, products, or equipment
  • Maintain lab stock of electronic and mechanical components and supplies
  • Repair and refurbish prototypes during testing
  • Follow inspection procedures and operate automated test equipment
  • Assist with root cause analysis, including identifying trends and common issues for systems, peripherals, software, and components


Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
