Electronics Technician
Job Summary:
Conducts prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting to support product development and testing activities, including mechanical and electrical assembly and system integration.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to read schematics
- Experience in troubleshooting and prototyping
- Proficiency in mechanical assembly and wiring harness assembly
- Skilled in lead-free soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components on PCBs
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with setting up and operating test equipment
- Background in system integration and testing
- Familiarity with root cause analysis and data analysis for technical troubleshooting
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct prototype builds and support engineering staff in system integration
- Assemble mechanical components and wiring harnesses
- Perform lead-free soldering of through-hole and surface-mount components on printed circuit boards
- Set up, maintain, repair, calibrate, and adjust test equipment as directed
- Assist in the development and maintenance of test stands, fixtures, and test equipment
- Document test results and analyze systems, processes, products, or equipment
- Maintain lab stock of electronic and mechanical components and supplies
- Repair and refurbish prototypes during testing
- Follow inspection procedures and operate automated test equipment
- Assist with root cause analysis, including identifying trends and common issues for systems, peripherals, software, and components
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
